Tom here. I am a free-spirited thinker, nonprofit fundraising operations practitioner, web developer, crypto & stock trader, and prediction market fan. Born in Germany, I came to the United States in the early 1980s and appreciate living here.

Liberal democracy, with its separation of powers among the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of government and its many checks and balances, is my kind of thing. I identify myself as a conservative libertarian.

My career spans running fundraising and accounting operations at several small to large nonprofit organizations, at times as a consultant and at other times as an employed, mid-level administrator.

I have now retired from managing complex nonprofit fundraising operations. More as a hobby than anything else, I write content and build websites for family, friends, and associates, and bake long-fermented sourdough bread on weekends.

Being mindful of the vagaries and vicissitudes of life and love, Gen AI has proved to be of benefit to me. Prediction markets seem to have a bright future as well, and I am on to it all.
